About The Festival

This is the third year of our festival. Last year the Downtown Olathe Arts Festival featured over 80 juried artists from more than 12 states. Many of our exhibitors were local artists. Our artists presented works in clay, on canvas, photography, sculpture, glass, jewelry, and much more.

In addition to our visual arts we hosted a diverse gathering of performing artists ranging from contemporary to classical. Little artists created special works of art in our children's art tent, and food vendors from all over our community offered delicacies to snack on while our patrons wandered the show.

The Downtown Olathe Arts Festival is also a unique festival in our city. We are a true community arts festival, involving our whole community. Last year we welcomed local artists with disabilities as well as young, emerging artists as exhibitors. We are pleased that this year we will again sponsor tents to host our Emerging Artists and our Artists with Disabilities.

Last years event attracted thousands of patrons of all all ages from all walks of life. This year we have prepared for even more.
